ECU pinning..where do I get the pins?
I have about 10 pins with wires on them right now, but the pins just don't fit quite right into the harness....I dunno if Honda ECU pins are different between models, but these clearly aren't the correct ones for my application...
Where do you people get your pins when you do it? I need some for an EG hatchback (if it even matters what kind of car it is?)
Are they expensive? I tried searching, but found literally nothing on this. TIA for the n00b questions.

Secondly, yes ecu pins do differ between the Honda vehicle generations. Since you own an EG and it's an OBD1 vehicle, rule of thumb would be to find another spare set of OBD1 ecu plugs. Hence, you'll want to get spare ecu plugs from any JDM or US 92-95 civic or integra since they all use the same plugs and pins at the ecu plug(s). Visit a junkyard or call up a JDM engine/front clip importer and see if they can sell or give you the ecu plugs from a front EG/DC clip with about 4" of wiring left over.

yeah i just went to a yard and lopped off all three connectors from the ECU making sure to leave extra wire length. you get plenty of practice removing the pins too since there's so many of them in case you mess up
good luck

heh..yeh, that poop breath is Bad
Alright...so I guess that's the source of my problem.
I called all the local import junkyards around me, and they won't sell them because they sell the complete harnesses...
Is it possible to buy them new? If not, I guess I could start calling some importers and shops and what not.
Thanks for the info..I was struggling with it for like 10 minutes before I finally realized it just wasn't gonna fit

How do you remove the pins? I have an OBD2.2 and sat there for about an hour, before i almost broke open the damn thing.
Also hot_EG, how many do you need? Can't say for sure, I might be able to get some.

I take a hammer to the plug and it breaks apart the plastic so that you can pry them out.
I get mine from the junkyard too. Unfortunately I don't have any OBD-1's to spare right now.

go to a pick-it-yourself-junkyard and buy something small, while clipping the ecu pins/wires and stuffing them into your pocket.
