I purchased a '89 civic ran fine it was already a dpfi-2mpfi converted chassis. Has a d15b7 swap but staying obd0 using a pm6 and si distributor. Depinned the distributor clip and drivers side engine harness clip. I have went over them and I drew it up as I depinned so nothing could be crossed up.

I double checked my work a ton so far, maybe 4 times a day and still nothing. It will crank up and run and drive but only up to 2k rpms. It started throwing a code 8 so I replaced the distributor still code 8 and still a 2-step. I even hard wired the new distributor to the ecu w/new wire and great connections. I am stuck I am at a loss and can not figure this out.

Any input to help is appreciated.
