Default doing a swap 96 JDM GSR into 99 civic ex need Help!

Dropping a motor for a friend of mine. I started looking at the motor, harness and prepping the motor (popping off jdm harness, ps, ac, etc) to drop it in over the weekend. Noticed a few things. i have researched hybrid garage and did a search through pages and pages of archives on h-t.

1st off it says that you use the driver's side bracket (underneath cam sprockets) from the sohc engine, but the one on the jdm motor is a 3 bolt bracket and the one on the sohc engine is a 2 bolt. I figure that you would just use 2 bolts, but the holes do not line up properly, so you would only have 1 bolt in place, which does not seem like a good idea. Do i drill out the hole so it will fit??? Or is there another bracket that I will use. I see why you would need the bracket, because the studs do not line up with the drivers side sohc mount (wider)

2nd i noticed that the jdm injectors use a different connector, so I will have to cut and splice that into the stock 99 ex harness..

Also, the 99ex harnessdoes not come out like it does on the integras. It looks like it goes underneath the battery all the way through the firewall, unless I disconnect it from underneath the dash. Have a helms and will check that tomorrow..

3rd Noticed that the 96 jdm integra motor (at least think it is, because it has a single plug dizzy) does not have a crank angle sensor, so I will throw a check engine light and will the distributor work correctly with a obd2b ecu..

just some things that i noticed at first glance. have not looked at it that long. trying to do my homework before I start dropping the motor in.

For those that have done this swap, can you let me know the following:
1. Does the 99ex harness plug into the 96 jdm teg motor? I know I will have to swap injector plugs, add knock sensor plug, add IAB plug.. possibly extend o2 sensor plug..

2. What ecu do i use for this swap. Do I go with a 99-00 GSR ECU (OBD2B) so it will plug right in or do I use and adapter harness and go with a OBD1 P72 or OBD2a P72.

Any other pointers or things to look for would be great. Just want to get more info before I attempt to drop the motor in.

thanks..
