Default doing a motor swap on a '97 hatch

it's a jdm motor and the wiring is backwards [ on the driver side] the passanger in japan.

well not going to reach pass. side on us hatch. wat to do!

also looking for harness for Si from the ecu to near batt. compartment. any suggestions?

other than that going great, ordering last min, things, Si mounts, a/c bracket-front engine mount, rear Si mount, tps{broken}, a/c compressor,for Si/ex...

Use the stock engine harness and add wires for all the extras: VTEC, knock, etc.

1999 Civic EX VTEC engine harness, setup for OBDII GSR engine - $100

I would be interested in that if I knew It would coincide with the JDM wiring harness, I need one from the inner fender( the battery compartment) to the ECU

any help would be appreciated!

The 99 harness will not work because that is when the ECU wiring changed to OBD2.5. You can use a 96-98 EX harness for less wiring but the 99-00 harnesses will only work in a 99-00 car.
