Ok I am cheap and I am looking for cheap power
Hmotorsonline.com sells the DOHC ZC for $525 + shipping.. (i live close) and taxes
Comes with
- Motor
- Intake Manifold
- Exhaust Manifold
- Injectors
- Fuel Rail
- Throttle body
- Alternator
- Distributor
I have an 89 integra sitting in front of my house.
Taking up space.
Could I use the 89 integra tranny + axles for this swap?
What else would I need?
Please all the information would be very useful!

Re: (im a monster hehe)
NOPE..
an 89 integra tranny and engine is not compatbile with an EF civic/crx at all.
If you want to get a ZC make sure you buy an 89+ ZC engine(8-bolt valve cover, looks like a mini LS engine). That specific year is designed to bolt into any US EF (civic & crx) chassis. If the 89+ DOHC ZC engine comes with a real ZC transmission, you will have to use 90-93 integra axles; these are the only axles that are compatible with the EF chassis and DOHC ZC tranny. Otherwise you can just reuse your CRX tranny on the ZC engine, its compatible with it. I hope your CRX is an Si though, non-Si tranny's suck azz!
