does someone reputible offer prebuilt ls/vtec,crvtec motors?
I would like to buy a crvtec motor. I would like to know who to trust to build one. I see all these "experts" who claim they built one or they race,or own one. How about offering them to the masses. with warrantees and such...?

Built quite a few ls/vtec engines. Not sure what kind of warranty you are looking for. Good HP with the correct support system, no problem. Built a B20 vtec with over 250 HP with a skunk manifold, no ITB's.
You get what you pay for.

What kind of warranty are you looking for? Most shops won't give you a warranty unless they do the install also. I build them and have had no problems at all but Im not sure what kind of warranty your looking for.

since your on the east coast and near nc I would get my freind Kareem a call and see what he can do. I've heard some bad things about J-Speed and try to stay away from them. The shop number is 704-643-2301. Just can and ask for him and he'll hook you up. We're in the middle of buliding mine right now and he's the man.

I "try to stay away" from JSPEED as much as possible, but I can't because we have so much work. I am very impressed that someone (Civic97dx) would take the time to try and hurt our reputation (1 post?) but the facts remain that we build the fastest NA hondas in NC. The last CRVtec we did? How about 258 hp...or how about 12.20 all motor GSR w/ full interior. We don't come on the internet to brag or try to hurt other peoples reps, we keep our opinions of others to ourselves, it's called bad business if you know what I mean. If you would like us to build you an engine feel free to give us a call, we would love to build it for you. We don't care about turbos, nos, or superchargers, ANYBODY can make hp with those. We let our dyno charts and timeslips speak for themselves....

"J-Speed" and "bad things" do not come in the same sentence. They do nothing but quality work, and are always happy to lend a helping hand. Had it not been for Jamie and Jake, I would have been left high and dry on a couple projects myself.
If you are anywhere in the Southeast, give them a call. They do great, QUALITY work. BTW, the cars they build are some of the fastest at the strips...
Need more references for J Speed? Ask me, I can get a few dozen in less than 15 minutes. All of them will be praise...

I just want to let you know and everybody else that I stand behind JSPEED and their work. Don't go out and say "you've heard some bad things" about a company without backing it up. Because you loose a lot of credibility when you can't and I don't see how you can back up your statements on this one. This is the bad thing about the internet when someone can just talk crap about a shop and then run.
Having had a shop in NC I can honestly say that it was a pleasure working with Jamie at JSPEED and the Hollifields at Import Auto Salvage due to their honesty and I will continue to do businesswith them.
You owe JSPEED a formal and public apology.
