Does an h22a obd1 engine swap into a civic require a resistor box if I'm using anything other than a p13 ecu?? I heard that you don't need the resistor box if your not running a prelude ecu is this right??

they are low impedance injectors. you need a resistor box regardless of ECU. The injectors have low resistance (peak and hold), hence the need for a resistor box. High impedance injectors have high resistance, no need for a resistor box.
The injectors are something like 340cc's or something. I would change them out to obd2 prelude injectors (280cc) and not run the resistor box since they are high impedance (saturated)...
to sum it up, if you use the obd1 injectors, you need a resistor box regardless of ecu...

DSRxCandyh2bEG really knows his things. He taught me couple things I suggest get RC 370 or PTE 440. I just got the PTE 440s with chipped uberdata basemap. Of course it's calibrated to 440 cc ... etc

Re: Does an h22 obd1 swap require a resistor box?
In that case I have a JDM 96 h22a engine. Does that mean its an obd2a engine since its 96? but at the same time the fuel injector plugs are obd1 style plugs and not obd2. So do I have obd2 fuel injectors being that the engine is a 96 h22a???????
