Do JDM engines/ecu's/whatever have governors???
Well, I have got a '97 JDM H22A in my '97 Acura Integra. I am using the JDM prelude computer and for what it is worth, I have a JDM TYPE R cluster (not sure if this has anything to do with anything).
The problem is that my car seems like it has a governor at 180 KM???? Is this true? Is there something easy I can do to the car to fix this? or do I have to get the computer reprogrammed or something? thanx.

Re: Do JDM engines/ecu's/whatever have governors??? (DC2_Jspec)
JDM ECU's have a speed limiter at 180 km/hr (~112 mph).
This can be removed with a Fields SFC-VTEC controller or chipping the ECU and removing the limiter.
