Different Idle problem - No vac leak. Is it PA sensor related?
I posted this on pgmfi, but thought I'd try the ht brains too:
96 integra (B18B1), with stock p75 obd2 ecu.
-----Idle is perfect.
Then I swap in a p75 ECU from a 95 (obd1).
(chipped with stock LS Uberdata basemap, with ELD disabled).
-----Idle starts around 2000, fluctuates down to 1500, keeps doing this about 20 times until it rests at 900 or so.
Back to the stock obd2 ecu.
-----Idle is perfect again.
Obviously it's not a vac leak, or anything else mechanical... I'm thinking it's the ecu, the conversion harness, or the PA sensor on the ecu.
I know Canadian integras have no ELD.
Q) Do Canadian integras have an internal or external PA?
Q) Any other differences between these 2 p75's?
One is a 95 USDM p75. (idle bounce)
The other is a 96 Can p75. (idle fine)
I'm gonna try disabling the PA in another chip and try that.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Different Idle problem - No vac leak. Is it PA sensor related? (juka)
Could this be something that the new ecu LEARNS over time? Is there some adjusting going on?
I tried a basemap last night with PA sensor disabled. But same symptoms.
I don't think disabling it helps here, cuz my old (good) ecu doesn't seem to have an internal PA sensor.
Not sure if it's just during the warm-up period, but I'm hearing a SHHHHHHHHH sound from near the fuel filter/fusebox area.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
