difference between b16a1 (92-93) & (88-91)
just wanted to know, what's the difference between the 88-91 b16a1 and the 92-93 b16a1 from an xsi integra...i wanna drop the xsi b16 but i don't wanna get ripped off and have them give me a b16a1 from a 88-91 civic/crx...i know there's a 10 hp difference, if noticeable at all, and that it's obdl for the xsi motor...are there any external/physical differences which would let me know, ie, block stamp, valve cover?...i'm trying to swap it in an 89 acura integra...keeping the dream alive...let me know...thanks!

the xsi makes more power from the cams and the pistons are slightly higher compression. I like the xsi myself and if it is obd1 better. pretty much you can take a stock xsi motor do head work and setup some good cams and tune it and make good power
