DESPERATE for an answer!!! H22A EGR vaccum trouble!
I have decided to block off the EGR on my H22A (JDM). Should I block off the rest of the vaccum ports as well (except PCV)? There are a LOT of open vaccum ports, and even though the motor is running ok, it is still scaring me. I've tried searching extensively on this, but I really haven't had much luck finding an answer. Any help or pictures would be GREATLY appreciated. And if you live in CT, perhaps I can compensate somehow for your time. PLEASE! ANYONE!!!!

You need to block off every single vacuum nipple/port on the intake manifold that you are not using. Any EGR ports need to be capped off.

Ok, will do. As far as using a P28, I may end up using my old one someday, but I will have to desolder the chipped ECU because it's chipped for my old D16. The thing is, I don't want to use a P28 because I cannot find a piggyback ECU for it anywhere that doesn't require a valvetrain upgrade. I already have the knock sensor wired up, so I'm only throwing a code 12 at this point. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable that code?
There is one more "breather" port I a concerned about. Right by the passenger side motor mount is a tube that is not capped off but leads to nowhere. It is too big to be a vaccum tube. Should I put a breather filter on this of just leave it alone?
