Del Sol Si Engine Into Civic VX
Ok i have some questions for all you engine swapping geniuses. Ok recently my sister wrecked her 94 del sol Si with Auto tranny. Now the insurance is not being fair (like always) and only going to give my sister $5092 for it. Car has 45k miles on it everything is in emaculate condition. Enough about the background of the car. I was wondering, can i use my civic vx tranny with the 94 del sol si engine? and i do need to use the del sol engine wireing harness and the ecu right? do i need to adjust anything for this swap to work? or is it just basically plug and play stuff? any feedback is greatly appreciated thank you.

The VX tranny will bolt up to the D16Z6. If the VX tranny is 5-spd, you can run the P28. If it's automatic, I believe you can run the VX tranny with the P28. I am unsure how it will affect the shifting with the different gearing. If you plan to swap the Z6 into your VX, it doesn't matter which harness you use but you need to convert the 5-wire O2 sensor to a 4-wire O2 sensor.
