del sol rad hose nozzle sizes vs. civic ex rads??
I'm using a civic ex dual core "d-series" rad for my b18c swap and i was annoyed to find that the rad nozzle diameters were smaller than my gsr hoses. Clamped them on tightish, and sure enough, while i was revving it up, i bunch of coolant squirted out the lower hose. this sucks
Are the del sol dual core radiator nozzles a match for the gsr hoses? It is a bseries rad... or so i hafta get a gsr rad and do custum work.

yes, the del sol vtec dohc has a dual core, with b series sized waternecks, if you get a 96-97....its aluminum!

Good, thats what i wanted to hear. So the older rads are plastic? Or just the OEM rads. I assume they all fit the same and they all fit right into an eg?

Well i just bought a del sol vtec rad today and the waternecks are mini d-series size. Did i get the wrong rad or is this poster wrong about the b-series sized necks?

you may have got a del sol vtec radiator, sohc vtec that is. dohc has b series water necks. obviously, they have b series engines!

maybe i should have asked if the b16 uses the same dia main hoses as the gsr. I think it may have been the aftermarket company going cheap. He said teh vtec model was listed as the same rad as the others. I decided to just make it work tho.
