Default Del Sol 95 B18C1 leak near the oil filter

Recently noticed my car has been smoking more coming up hills than regular driving. No leaks from oil pan. That was just replaced along with oil plug and gasket. Also just replaced the PCV valve.

Is that piece after market? I bought the car like this and I feel like i've been fixing the other guys mistakes. Never encountered this before and would like another opinion.

Took a look at my motor and noticed it was leaking from what looked like behind the filter. The metal part that oil filter screws onto. It doesn't look like its coming from the oil filter.

All the help will be greatly appreciated!

there's an o-ring behind it, that probably went bad.
