the ******* starter doesnt engage the flywheel
its a gsr starter to my knowledge, and you can here the starter gear pop out and spin, but it isnt catching anything.
what could be causing this????

Re: damn swap wont start (killerpenguin21)
ok well i guessing that my problem is that the starter has a big P30 on it and part number of SM-402-16n so im guessing its a jdm b16 starter...and i just learned the hard way you cant use a b16 starter on a gsr.

if I remember correctly, wasn't there a thread that said you couldn't use a jdm starter with a usdm flywheel because of the different number of teeth...or was it the other way around?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
