Default d16y8 head and intake manifold on d16z6 block

Please need help. Trying to put a d16y8 head and intake manifold on a d16z6 block. I can not get the distributor from the d16z6 to bolt up to the d16y8. Any advice on how to do this? Plus, the intake manifolds are different. How do I enter change them and make sure all my vacuum hoses and other hoses are in the right place?
Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you need to get the Y8 distributor, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hey, so what your saying is I need a 92-95 non vtec distributor and it will bolt to the d16y8 head? Are you sure and will it plug right in? And is there any issues with timing?

what head bolts are you using? i tried to put a 99 y8 head on my z6 block using arp bolts for the z6. it turned out that the head bolts were too long.
