Default d16y from ej6 into 89 civic hb?

Hi people, my cousin flipped his ej6 last week and was wondering if he could swap the engine into a 89 hb(d15a) . Would it be worth it and would he need to buy engine mounts and what not?

there's quite a bit of conversion work to be done with the obd 2 to obd 0, a possible tranny conversion (hydraulic to cable or vice-versa...i forget which way it goes), and mounts...if you don't have the hatch yet, don't buy it just to do this swap if you don't want all the extra work. it would be easier to get a 92 hatch and put it in using the wiring harnesses in the car already, provided that it is an ex. it can be done either way, but it all comes down to how much time, money, and patience you have.
