D16 or D15 w/ z6 head mini me? which would be better?
i currently have a d15b2 in my 91 dx civic hatch, i can get a d16a6 complete with ecu, and all wiring for around 300, and then throw on a z6 head for another 150. should i spend the 300 on the d16a6 or just throw the z6 head on my current b15 block? want to get a lot of power, but also do it somewhat cheap. which would be better? also i want to make the wiring pretty simple, but thats second to getting good power

ok, so would that be a good idea? a lot less work then a full d16a6 swap and then putting on a z6 head, but would it give as noticeable power increase

the d16 block is torn on the drivers side engine mount so **** that, taking the cam and MPFI from the d16, throwing on my d15. would the a6 head be better than what i have, or the same, or what? dont need it but probably really cheap so just asking, also to wire mpfi, resistor box and anything else? pm6 ecu?

Yes you can put any d-series vtec head on the any d-series non vtec block. It will be kind of like doing a ls/b20 vtec. You can even use the d16y8 head wich has better intake manifold and more power. The y8 will be a bit harder cause of its obd, so you will have to convert. If you want something more easy, than do the z6 head. If you dont have money to maintain or do the head swap, you can always stick with an a6. If your car isnt already a mpfi, you will have to convert your setup from dual point to mpfi.
