Default D15b vtec in a CRX, the stock DX manifold doesn't fit

Do I need the d16 manifold/header? I was just going to buy a Megan racing one off ebay since it's seems to be decent and a decent price.

Were you able to use the exhaust hanger on the back of the engine? Anyone thin there is any problems with not bracing the header underneath the engine?
