d15 non vtec to d16z6
... how hard would it be to switch block n head...? i need to buy a new distrubtor and maybe alt.. . could i use my d15y8... (CX) distributor on the d16y7? how bout the alternator? and then i need a vtec control.... how wuld i do that? all my wireing is ganna be different... 93 cx....dnt have the plug n ****...

You said D15 non vtec to a D16Z6 (SOHC VTEC 92-95).
Then you posted D15Y8 (uhhh whoosh), D16Y7 (which is EK DX motor), and now it's all going into a 93 CX?
Please state more clearly. What motor are you wanting to swap, what head, etc..
