d15 16 valve in an hf?
found a good price(100$)on a 16v 88'dx motor that i am thinking about buying for my hf. now if i am correct the dx came with the 16v, but dpfi. i was wondering if my mpfi would run the dx longblock just as well, if not better? will i need anything else besides the dx longblock for the swap?
thanks for the help guys!

get everything you can for the dx and just bolt the mpfi intake onto the dx head. everything should be a basic bolt in. the heads are all the same. the only differences are the valves, pistons, cranks, cams, and intakes. all of which are interchangable between the different models, but each has different effects (settings?). you may want to double check on the axles. i am not sure if the axles are the same though. you may need to get a set of dx/si axles to go with the dx tranny. unless you are trying to bolt up the hf tranny (with really really long gears). if i were you, i would try to get a dx or si tranny to go with that block - prefereably the si tranny. good luck.
