I read somewhere that you can cut one of the flanges that bolts to the head off, and it will work....this is not a proven theory though...

I am referring to the distributor. But yes there are some MINOR parts that interchange from B to D, this would be some of them:

1. TPS
2. MAP
3. IAC
4. Injectors
5. FPR
6. Throttle Body (some)
7. PLug Wires (some)
8. IAT
9. Bolts
10. Hoses

You show me 10 more.

Those are chassis parts not B + D engine parts. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

The dist guts are exactly the same. You can swap the guts out if you new what you where doing.

What is exaclty wrong with the b16 dist is the first place?
