Default d-series differences....a/c compatibility and crankshaft particularly.

I've been searching around for some answers. Do all d-series have the same mounting points on the outside? I have a 93 d16z6 in my car currently with a/c, will it bolt up to a d16y7 block? Also, are all of the crankshafts the same? could i use a z6, y8, a6 crank in my y7 block with a z6 head? Any answers would be appreciatted, thanks!
