Default Cylinder Sleeving - How To?

What all is needed to sleeve a B18 block? Should I go with Darton? Anyone have experience with AEBS? Should I not even consider tackling this myself and ship it off?

Thanks!

you need some fairly expensive and precise equipment to install sleeves properly. Darton sleeves can be installed by a compentant machine shop. Golden Eagle MFG has some really nice sleeves also, but they are the only ones who will install thier sleeves. Golden Eagle

Do a search on sleeving in the FI forum. There are lots of discussions about sleeves there.

Just got my block from UPS during lunch break.

I had Golden Eagle do the "Godzilla" sleeve on it. I only had time to do visual check, but it looks like it's a bomb-proof. It's a B18B block. I had them bore it out to 84.5mm.

The whole cost was 750 for the sleeves. 150 for boring and honing and about 120 for shipping.
