Default Custom Tach after swap?

can anyone suggest where to get custom tach, or face gauge to cover or replace existing tach, i have a 93 del sol and went to vtec from non vtec. I run to the end of my tach now, right through the redlin, i want a new gauge either without the redlilne or a new complete cluster, is this possible to just plug in a tach with a greater reading on the tach?

Default Re: Custom Tach after swap? (400HPdelsol)

Buy a used gauge cluster from a wrecked del Sol VTEC. Remove the tach from the VTEC cluster and install it in your stock cluster. That way, your tach is of the correct scale, the odometer is correct for your chassis and its a stock as can be. That's what I did when I went from a del Sol Si (D16Z6) to a hybrid (USDM B16A2 from 99 Civic Si)

I got my cluster from importautosalvage.com.......

HTH!
