ctr piston?
 
ok i want to put ctr pistons in my b16a2 are they the same size as stock ones and when i put them in will i need to richen the fuel mixture and if i do from what rpm to what rpm also what should i retard timing to thxx?

Yes, the ctr is a b16 too but with higher compression. They are both have the 81mm bore. I would think you should not need to mess with the air/fuel. :shrugs:

you will have to shave the rod 1mm on each side to fit the ctr pistons.

i have ordered some ctr pistons for my b16a first gen would i need to do this to and if so would it work without this done and if i had to do it were would i take it to get it done

any capable machine shop / engine shop can mill the 1mm off of the rods for not much $$$.

yes you will NEED to do this unless you have GSR/ITR/CTR rods.

Are CTR pistons/rods a good mod for a b16a2? Do you need to do any other "prep work" before running them, or can you just throw them in and go?
