Default crankcase breather?

do 96 and up acuras honda b series have a crankcase on the back side of the block? I have a 99 si manifold on a pr3 head and in the middle of the front is a hose that goes to the front of the manifold and down below like it is supposed to go to the crankcase (if that is what is is called) and its the same way on my ls manifold. If I do not have anything to go to this should I block it off? or route it elsewhere?

thanks mike

p.s. if you need a pic I can get one later today.

Default Re: crankcase breather? (infamousLSVTEC)

Are you talking about the PCV system?
Or are you talking about the breather on the valve cover that goes to the air intake hose?

Edit: If I think I know what you're talking about,
I have a Breather filter on the valve cover, and had put a rubber grommet thingy to plug the hole on the Vtec intake manifold... since LS does not have a PCV system.
