Default Converting '98 OBDII GSR motor to OBDI??

What all is needed to do this? just the ECU?

Assuming it's going in to an OBD1 car all you need is the OBD1 ECU. The wiring issues are the same as all GSR swaps except that you will need to reverse the polarity of the IAB signal. e-mail me if you have Q's about that.

Nope.
ill second that.. all you need to get is an obdI ecu and it plugs into a 5gen civic chasis harness and then you run a few needed wires and that is it.. nothing else.. no distrubutor or anything.. i have done 2 swaps like this, obdI rules!!!

Can you explain more about reversing the polarity.

OBDI ecu's use 12V signal to trigger the IAB's and OBDII ecu's use a ground switch. You just have to reverse the signal from a ground to a 12V source. You can use the wire that powers your injectors. Credit is due to Mike(92SleepR), he told me this but I still have not done it. I'm scared of hacking into the wires for one and my car's been out of service. Mike, hope you are going to the meet in Richmond cuz I still need your expertise.
