Hey guys, I bought 99 Jdm Itr long block from star japan , so far it runs strong and healthy. After 3 weeks I decide to do compression test on my motor and result were like this. Car was warm and normal temp when I perform the test also cranked 5 times with throttle closed. 1. 230. Clyn 2- 230. Clyn 3. 230 and 4. 240 cuz I cranked 6 times. So I got all this numbers with throttle close cuZ I forgot to do wot lol. What you guys think or should I perform again with WOT, any inputs will be appreciate.

Thanks but I heard Jdm Itr motors yield 270'psi stock, correct me if I'm wrong. If mine came 240 without WOT I guess I should yield 260 atleast with WOT.

numbers seem fine. i'd be worried if it was below 200 on any, or all, cylinders. otherwise, it seems like its doing good for a 12 year old motor.

Ya i agree with you. I was amazed when we start up this beauty... very well balanced and smooth knock on wood. Thanks for your time guys also this is one of the best ever made for 4 cylinders and balanced on high rev.
