Default b20 eg8

i was looking online for a b20b for a future b20 vtec swap into my eg8 5 speed but all i see is motors that were autos. do i have to something to the motor or am i fine? thanks for the help

edit also i see alot of low compression should i stay away from those?

auto motors are pretty much the same, you just have to remove the flex plate.

You also have to add the intake manifold, TB, whole clutch set up, and maybe driver side bracket.

the price of B20's has gone up (idk why) to 700 range. They used to be 550 all day long.

You can always set the engine on a stand, add in new pistons, resize rods for ARP and then slap on the vtec head.
Collect your parts, do work, then swap it in and get it tuned.
