I like my ACT clutch for my d series. haven't had a problem yet. probably have the same similar clutch for my future b series swap.

I like the Exedy street clutch, they seem to last for a long time. I have them in both of my hybrids and they get the job done

both are good choices. exedy makes the 3 puck (sprung) clutch as well (about $350) which is an excellent piece.
ACT offers many choices with very simliar pricing

well the act clutch is used... and the exedy is brand new with both bearings... price is not an issue here but which one will get the job done??? i have the ACT on my hybrid and love it but i never experienced with exedy i heard its more like a stock clutch is this true? i have a minime swap y7/y8 with I/H/E and gonna be using nitrious not sure how much yet so should i go with act or exedy? and i should throw on a flywheel too while im at it too ... and what a good nitrious set-up???

I've never worked with Exedy but I'll always recommend ACT.... I would either go with ACT or Tilton if you got the money... I don't really know how the Exedy's hold up but i'm sure it will be fine, I would think that you are better off with the newer clutch... The first clutch i ever installed was on my friend's D16Z6 in his 92 VX... We just went with an ACT HD PP w/ 6-puck disk.. He's ran his nitrous forever and it still holds up great, almost 2 years later... The motors basically done for (just the rings so i'm just building a Y8 bottom end for it)... Peace
