Default CEL question... pretty easy im sure

While searching around last night til about 3am, I remember coming across a post in one of the various open tabs i had that mentioned something about the CEL when the key is in the on position. What does it mean when the CEL stays on until i crank over the motor as opposed to it coming on for a few seconds then shutting off?

Not entirely sure what ur saying. But when u turn the car to ON position but not crank it over, the cel light comes on for a few seconds, this shows u that the fuel pump is priming the fuel line, and when it turns off. It's done, it always does this before u start the car.
