cel 36 h22a
i just got done putting in a jdm h22 into my 92 cx running a jdm p13 auto ecu. i'm coming up with a cel 36. I've searched and found that its for jdm auto in a 4 wheel steering or something. can someone clear that up for me? i know i'm checking the cel right because i came up with cel 3, 7, and 41 and fix those problem... So i'm sure its 36. Any kind of help or input would be appreciated thanks

That's odd. Some JDM p13's throw that code depending on the year I guess for the traction control. I'm also pretty sure it's a soft code and will not affect performance.

yeah that's what i'm thinking too. I haven't notice any loss in power or hestitation when accelerating, so its cool. Only thing i'm noticing is vtec and torque lol. Thanks man

racerxfear: How did you fix your 41 code? I have a 41 code I have my heater wired up correctly. I don't understand why I'm getting this code.

Looks like that, right? I "heard" of somebody doing a trick with the wires by using some resistors to see if they can give it some impedance and either ground it out or connect it to something else (like another power source) to keep from getting the code 36, but this is not confirmed...... anyone else have any suggestions?

i found out that one of wire were loose so check ur wiring to make sure its hooked up correctly and not grounding out.
kay this is how i did mine since mine was originaly a single wire o2 i had to convert it to 4 wire... so i had to add three more...
1. white wire- since that was already prewired to d14 of the ecu and corresponded with the p13 ecu i left that
2.orange/white this was the wire off the prelude 4 wire o2 sensor which i just ran that to a6 the ecu wiring it will be orange/blk
3.green/white that's suppose to go to d22. but i've just splice into the grn/wht wire to the tps sensor. the grn/wht of tps sensor also runs into d22 so no point of running another wire into the ecu
4.yel/blk this i splice into a 12v source when the ignition is on.
and if you done it like how i did it then that pretty much leave it up to the o2 sensor being bad.
i hope that didnt confuse you too much. after reading it, it kinda of confuse me lol

Only 4WS cars have 4 plugs, whether it be US or JDM. Otherwise, they all have 3 plugs. I've had both US and JDM, both auto and 5-spd and all 3 plugs. When I get a 4WS ECU, it has the 4th plug.
