Catback exhaust for a hybrid???

Catback exhaust for a hybrid???
I heard that if i use the 17in carsound cat with my 2.5in JDM header then i can purchase a catback exhaust for the si HB and it will bolt up, does any one know for sure if thats true cuz i'm about to buy one!
