Default Car wont crank after auto-manual swap...

We did the swap and are using the proper computer. You can hear it priming the fuel. But when we try to start it you just hear the relay click in the underhood fuse/relay box. its the middle relay that is clicking. Where should we start looking?

Did you make sure to pull the AUTOLOCK module so the car doesn't still think its an automatic in park?

There's more to it than just "taking it out." You need to find the Park wire on one side of the auto switch selector, then the gear input on the other side and hard wire those together. Even though your car is now a manual, the wiring is still auto going to the ignition. Don't forget to run the wires for your revers lights out to the tranny or they won't work when you put it in reverse.

i guess that could be the problem. the ecu is expecting a clutch switch signal and its not getting it, any idea the colors of those 2 wires? we will run the reverse lights soon too.

the blue box is in the underdash fuse area. im not sure if your car has it. we got it working. set the slider(auto "gear selector") to neutral and made it stay there.

There's your problem. The plug styles changed to OBD2.5 in the 99 Civic's so using the 98 wiring harness will not work. You need to use your stock 99 engine harness or a 99-00 Si for less wiring.
