can you run an OBD2 engine in an OBD1 car without changing dist. & injectors
my buddy wants to put an OBD2 GSR engine into his OBD1 GSR ('93) and he will be using his stock ECU.
does he have to change the OBD2 distributor and injectors to OBD1 versions, or is it just plug and play?

Just wondering, why would he want to use his stock ECU? What will he do about the secondary manifold?

Re: can you run an OBD2 engine in an OBD1 car without changing dist. & injectors (red civic standard
he is getting a skunk2 manifold which eliminates the secondary butterflies.
new question: How do you put an OBD2 engine into an OBD0 car?
Here is my guess: convert the OBD0 car to OBD1 with wiring harness (from Blown90hatch or Kenji) and just use the OBD2 motor with OBD2 electronics.
Can anyone confirm this?
