Default Can someone confirm this B20b/z info?

Today I called Hondamotorsoline looking for a b20z. he said he did not have b20z's in stock so I asked him some questions about the JDM B20b (which he has instock). I asked him about the compression of the of the JDM B20b, he said it had a 9.6.1 CR. He also added that the JDM B20z has a 10.1 CR.

I was always under the impression that the B20b had 8.8:1 and that the B20z had 9.6:1.

Is the info from http://www.hondamotorsonline.com correct?

nope. ok, in the US there are B20Z and B20B. Z is 9.6, B is 8.8. that part you got right. in japan, there's like 3 different vehicles with B20s. they are all B20B. comp ratios are different..highest is 9.4.

Do newbies come equipped with flame suits ?

I hope you are not just making a general statement about CRVTs.... without prior hands on knowledge... you could just be setting yourself up for a schooling...
