Can I use a obd2b ITR ECU in my 00 EJ8?
Feeling very noobish here. I've been reading but there's a lot of different information.
I have a 2000 civic ex. I am going to buy a b18c type r, 98+ spec.
My goal is to use the computer that came with the motor, that will also plug into my existing harness with no jumper harness.
It seems the 00-01 ITR motors/ECUs are obd2b. So, if I buy one that comes with its original ECU, can I plug that into my car and start it up?
Seems JDM ITR ECUs did not have immobilizers which is a plus.
Also seems I may have to move a few wires around for the fuel pump.
How did I do? Any input or constructive criticism?

Now I am reading more and more all JDM ITR ECUs are obd2a. Wondering if I should get an obd2b to obd2a jumper harness, or run a obd2b to obd1 jumper harness with a socketed p28 with a proper chip.
