Default Can I use my B16 oil pump for the LS vtec?

Ive read that they have different part numbers from obd1 to obd2, but someone said its just the crank sensor mounting position is different???

I am using my obd1 head and electronics, with an obd0 B18a block.... Which do I need? I would really like to reuse my B16 pump if possible cause Im strapped for cash.

its doable but dont do it. obd2 pumps have a higher flow rate. Spend the money and get a new one
