Can i swap a 00' civic ex engine into an 89 integ
i have an 89 LS integ and my friend can give me his old 00 civic ex engine, can i swap that into my car, and wat extras will i need

now why would you want to do that... i'm trying to remember what the 1gen tegs had ZC i believe either stick with your existing motor or get a b16a and tranny.

well i can get the motor for free, it has vtech and more horses, but than i loose the dohc, but im not sure wat i will gain in times though, thats y this post is up, anybody with more advice?

Don't waste your time trying to swap in the EX motor. If anything, take the motor from your friend and sell it. Or find a 4G or 5G shell for cheap and drop it in.
