Can anyone identify this ECU?
https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...b7d319cd8.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/honda-t...8c6dd0b8a.jpeg It’s what came in the b18b1/gsr LSVTEC I bought, I need to pull fuel from the tune it is running extremely rich, wondering if I can modify the tune with this or if I need to get a hondata, etc |
Re: Can anyone identify this ECU?
That is a chipped SOHC VTEC ecu from a '93 Civic EX or Si. The issue here is was the chip programmed to optimize the engine combination that you have... as in TUNED ??? If not, can it be modified ??? If you want to do it right, you should really consider a better solution than a "CRomE" burned chip... like a Hondata s300.

Re: Can anyone identify this ECU?
Find someone competent at tuning Crome. I tune about 85% of the cars I see on Crome and it works great for me. S300 has a rowdier sounding launch control and rev limit but Crome will work just fine for what your doing, |

Re: Can anyone identify this ECU?
Take a picture of the ECU with the lid off... specifically, a close up shot of the 28-pin chip in the top right corner (holding the ECU with the wiring plugs at the bottom) to show what type it is.
