Re: cam gauges (importlegions)
Dude you need to get a shop manual, or at the very least a haynes. Are you trying to set your valve lash? If so you need to look in a manual and see what the tolerance is for exhaust/intake valves. Mine(on a ZC) is .005-.007 for the intake valves and .006-.008 for the exhaust valves. Looser is better than tight because if it's too tight you can burn a valve. So like for mine, I start with a .007 feeler guage and you have to stick it between the cam lobe and the rocker arm when that cylinder is at TDC on the comp stroke(again it's in the manual how to locate that). Then you tighten or loosen the adjusting screw untill there is slight tension on the feeler gauge. You should be able to slide it in and out smoothly but feel a small amt of drag on it. Then check and see if you can get the next largest size in there. If you can it's too loose, tighten it up. If you can't, but the one .007 will, you are in good shape. Tighten the nut and do the other valves on that cylinder and then the other cylinders the same way(get a shop manual!).
Also, if you have not already converted your car to MPFI from DPFI the cam isn't going to do you any good cause you still are breathing thru a straw and only have two fuel injectors.

WTF are you bumping it for!! I just told you what you want. I might be a newb HT but I know what the **** I am talking about. If you don't even have a haynes manual for your car you shouldn't even be taking the ******* valve cover off.

That's a hell of an attitude for someone who can't even bother to look in the shop manual. And, you are mouthing off to someone who gave you the info you wanted in your original post. What's your malfunction?
