Default CAlling all TROUBLE SHOotERs FOR SWAPS

ok so the project is now finished and i have some pics that ill posting up shortly because it was a fun build.. its a 99 cx with a obd1 GSR motor,EX wire harness, snk2 intake mani, running Jdm -72 (GSR ECU) +++in it// all conversion were made so it would work/ harness, dizzy, plugs, alternator, etc.

> i need some trouble shooting help with why its runs harsh,, when i start it_ it will lobe as if there are cams (4 ppl that know that sound) or the idle fluctuates little bit .. im guessing i have a vacuum leak cause the only code im getting is one and thats the O2.. ive changed the plug on it changed but just havnt changed the sensor(will do tomorrow) but i also think that you can throw this code if there is a vac leak

my question for everyone that is good at trouble shooting is what else could i try so that i can hammer things out one by one to see whats happening

THNKS

i also would like to add that i have three plugs that had no place to go from the harness EX harness if this helps i will also try and post pics of the plugs.. and one other thing to add someone once said that if i put my hand over the TB and it dies this means there is no vacum leak? true? cause i put my hand and it died will a bad o2 sensor cause the ecu to run limp and cause the car to run like this?

you check you timing and all your grounds are good. just a couple ideas. also I would start checking hoses and make sure your coolant is full and no air bubbles.

ok pulled the O2 sensor what a pain that is when everything is in but i think this could be the reason why O2 sensor code comes back considering how black it is... these are all universal correct I pulled the one of d series to compare thinking of putting it in its place

Are you sure its code 1 and not 10? They are easy to get mixed up.

Some of this is common sense...

o2 sensors are in the exhaust...yes they're interchangeable. its black because it isnt registering and youre running rich.

google ffsquad pinout, find out what sensors those color wires go to.

if you put your hand over the tb and it dies that means your iacv isnt opening...theres your idle issue.

Code 10 also only blinks once. Code 10 is one long blink, and code 1 is one short blink. Just throwing some ideas out there for you.
