I use a set of coilovers from my 4 door accord. They have a much stiffer spring

Since you have a coilover system have you tried raising the car? I used to have ITR springs on stock struts and that was a great ride for daily driving, I just wanted less bodyroll so I went with the Omnipower coilovers. Only time I had rubbing problems is when my Omnipower coilovers were fully dropped.
They were the best 600 bucks spent.

I have ground control, and tokico five way adj. It does just fine, but wish I would have done a full coilover. Have to set the shocks to full stiff in front. The springs are for a civic, I heard that if you get custom spring rates it works great.

ground controlls and tokico 5 way work the best i had multiple amounts of full coilovers ex-apex,tein,h&r and the final result was blowing them due to the fact that when you buy them they are bought for a civic and the extra weight from the h duece duece killls them get the g/c witht the prelude or integra rated springs for the front and civic rated for the back

Were these predetermined spring rates meant for a civic? I ran OEM ITR springs and stock struts for a year and nothing happened.

Progress makes a nice coilover designed specifically for civics with H22 swaps. I have heard good things about them.

the progress springs for EG with H22 are too soft and lower the car too much. its a 2.5 inch drop with 375 lb springs in the front.
Im using Integra rate H&R race which lower 2 " with 450 lbs front and 260 rear with the tokico's 5 ways. I like it alot. Im thinking of trying the Prelude ones for an even stiffer rate

hah! that's what you think, three of your shocks were blown when kenny and I removed the springs. Of course it is a 13 year old car.
Most people should be replacing most of the wear suspension components anyways on cars this old.
As for the original post, I have an over weighted civic (2560lbs) with koni yellows and those ITR springs pat is talking about. With the rims wrapped in 205 15 50 azenis my car handles like a dream (well, almost). I have my koni's on a 1/4 turn back from full stiff up front and one full turn from full soft in rear. No extra bounce at all.
