Default to build or to buy, that is the question.

ok, over the christimas break i'm going to be tearing into my car. it's about time to do a rebuild b/c of the milage. my options are to rebuild, drop in a replacement stocker, or to swap to an h23. all the engines would cost me about the same, but with the h23, i'd need new mounts. there are some mounts out there for this swap, but they are 650 bucks. the question is, should i pay the 650 for the mounts and bypass the fun times that i could have fabricating my own mounts, or build the mounts and spend most of a week or so in my shop building some new stuff? or should i just not hassle with it and spend a weekend rebuilding my motor? the car is a 90 prelude with a b20a5. i'm kinda thinking build my own right now.
