Bosch O2 sensors????
Has anyone have good or bad experience with these o2 sensors. Mine went out and I'd rather not pay 250 for an oem one. Bosch even has a free gas thing if you buy their o2 and 4 platinum plugs. Well just wanna know if they're good or they will throw CEL's.

Re: Bosch O2 sensors???? (EE_Chris)
i have never had a problem with mine. just make sure to wire it right and use sheilded wiring and connectors. its a hell of a lot cheaper then even the $180 you can find a honda o2 for.

Re: Bosch O2 sensors???? (MNsnowdaboy)
I just installed one today on a obd0-OBD1 conversion and no problems so far. let me see how long it runs til a engine light comes on. the one I used was nice. it had the factory plug. not a universal one

Re: (crxirex)
i had a bosch universal and it went 2 to 3 months before it started giving me codes. the universals suck imo. i would get a stock one from someplace online like perhaps oxygensensors.com. this is nothing against bosch in general, cause my lm1 wideband uses the lsu4 bosch 5 wire and its on point

Hi guys, dont mean to thread jack but I bought a 'universal' one too. The problem is none of the wire colors match up to the OEM one! Does anyone know what wire does what? ps - the universal O2 is made by "Beck/Rnley Worldparts. This is a 4 wire plug.

The universal sensor has 2 whites, a black, and a grey. I am not sure what color wires do what for the oem O2 or the universal. And what info were you looking for on my car? Its an EG and its OBD1 with a 4 wire O2 sensor connector...

Yeah, I have bought a couple OEM O2s from a salvage yard but they are both throwing codes. So how/where can I get an OEM O2 without going to a salvage yard or the dealership?

Re: (Rockinfunzone)
FYI A friend just bought a "OEM" O2 sensor from Napa. It was ~$70 and came with a factory plug on it. I think the sensor is actually made by Bosch, but it does have the Honda plug on it so there is no wiring issues. Just plug in and go. So far it is working, but I don't know how long it will last.
Thanks,

Cool man, thanks for the heads up. Yeah, this universal one was $125 and if you wanted one with a connector it was way more than that so $70 sounds good.
