Default bisimoto F2D H2D adaptor plate questions, anyone running it?

anyone running bisi's H to D adaptor plate?
http://www.bisimoto.com/wst_page10.html

kit includes the plate AND flywheel. it uses a civic clutch.

pricing for the kit seems very reasonable (talk to bisi, i'm not going to post the price), D-series crap is uber cheap, easy to find and light. not to mention you can swap out a few gears to make 1-4 nice and short.

anyone using it?
impressions?
what did you do for bracket/mount on upper driver side (it's not included in the kit)?

it's obviously been working well for bisi for a long time. H2B seems ideal for gearing, but B-trannies are expensive as **** and hard to find around here.

From what I heard over a phone conversation the EF chassis is really hard to work with far as frame rail clearance issues even more so then the H2B...

I saw the kit last weekend in person at BOTI in the insight...top notch as always...

i'm not worried about bay size. if the H2B fits in the EK without framerail massaging, the H2D will, too.

thanks for the input explicit

I'm more curious to know how high HP (350-500) D-series trannys are holding up. I have 3 (or 4?) d-series trannys in my back yard.

I was talking to that one guy same conversation with the H2D...he had a crx SI tranny I believe with some ZC gears in it...not sure which ones he used...I think he also used the ZC LSD and a rare ZC final drive...I believe there is 2 types of ZC final drives...said it was a ideal tranny...

My main concern is the hood clearance.

bump for info as well, been trying to find anyone that has done this to get impressions.

considering the small size of the d-tranny, i don't see why there would be much frame rail massaging to do in an eg.

not sure about the ef.

back from the dead...wondering if anyone has tried this out yet, the only other (usefull) thread I can find is this one:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1749840

I really don't like the look of this:

I'm getting a F23 for free/cheap, the chassis is a 91 Civic, and I would like to switch to a H22 at some point, but I really don't want to cut away at my strut tower. If nothing else, engine bay shot's of Bisi's CRX would be awesome. I'll probably be giving them a call next week anyway.
