The best defense against car thieves.
Don't buy a car that is likely to get stolen...or don't PARK the car anywhere it would get stolen (ie, leave it behind a fence in your yard, or in the garage).
this is why i don't drive my honda around... it'll get stolen with ease.
but, if you absolutely have to drive your modified car (especially if it's a honda)...Two things you can do:
1. REMOVE THE ECU! Carry it with you.
or
2. Go out and buy a ECU for like $25 (making sure your harness will plug into it, regardless if it'll start the car), remove all the innards from the ECU, except where the harness plugs into. Plug that connectors into the "psuedo" ecu. This way, the car thief will never know what to do... he'll be looking for a cut off switch of some sort.

Why not just pull the fuse from underhood that you would pull to reset the ecu?
Anyways you can also not buy huge rims, big wings, bodykits, and other stuff thaty draws tons of attention to your car. It will also deter cops too.

Hey, copy and paste these posts and put them under my car theft post if you could please, thanks.
And as for the body kits ans poo poo - I think that only DETERS car theives because that usually means the car is stock under the hood. Under the hood is where the money is.
Pulling fuses is cool - good idea.
Oh, and removing the ECU isn't a bad idea, but don't you think the SMART criminals that steal these cars for swaps and poo poo carry their own?

Re: The best defense against car thieves. (Driven)
Around here a lot of thieves use tow trucks. They are in and out in less than a minute and don't draw any attention since they look legit. Anti Theft measures except for lojack won't help you around these scum.
