well ive been savin my pennies and dimes and im almost ready to buy my motor, wheres a good place to get a full swap for my 93 ex in NYC? I have went to Royal Japan before in corona but i have lost their number+ card and i dont know if they have any gsr or type r swaps, and since im about an hour from the city i dont want to take the trip down unless im sure they have what im looking for. What places have u guys bought from?

Good luck. To date, not 1 reputable NYC shop has been able to get their ******* act together. For service and turbo's, i'd go with RPM NYC, but there really could be a major tuner that did everything top to bottom.

I say do your research, take the TIME to do it right and do it yourself. It may look intimidating, but once you break down the idea of a swap its not that bad. Its a b-series it bolts right in, just take some time on the wiring or send it off to Hasport(the harness). Get some buddies together and have fun! I know thats not the aswer your lookin for, but at least you will KNOW your car.

why not order a motor? I don't trust folks in NYC. The theft rate is too extreme, I always feel like the people out here will ****** your addie off the invoice and try and take the sh*t back. Kinda Paranoid... Maybe.... or Maybe not! Otherwise I thought NRG was the source in NY, but what do I know?

id rather have a place close to me incase something bad happens, + no cost for shipping, normally better prices. Maybe i will just go back to royal and pick it up
