First off TORK is spelled Torque
My choice would be an LS and Turbo it later down the road. That IMO is the best "Bang for the Buck"

Re: (ted)
I have a 93 cx hatch with a b18b non v-tec with homemade intake and dual exhuast stripped interior and ran a 14.5 in the 1/4. My 60ft times were crappy at 2.3-2.4. I didn't try to much NA cause I had a NX kit and ran 13.5. If you can get a good launch it'll be alot faster but the day at the track it was 102 degrees and I was smoking BF drag radials with 8-10psi 1st and 2nd. Good luck and yes like said above you can later get a turbo for it like I am now. And if you have motor problems you can find them a dime a dozen.

how hard would that be to install? would I have to get a new ECU if installed in a 92 civic cx? If so, which one? What other things must I do to complete this swap? Any good websites for help. I need a new motor and clutch but cant afford the gsr swap so I need a relatively cheap alternative. I searched in all the stickies but all the threads that seem usefull have a "Error: This thread has no topics in it" or something of that nature. Sorry for kinda stealing your thread, but its the same topic and no need to create a new thread for it.

lol yeah do this swap, I'm sure the motors are a dime a dozen.
No seriously though, the GSR swap is your best bet, I have one in my 94 dx. I have cheap generic vatozone intake, magnaflow exhaust 14822 and nothing else. The clutch is TERRIBLE as well. Its the stock gsr clutch which grabs fine but the PP blows the cizock. Ran a 14.1 in the 1/4. This is in a DX, not a hatch.
